RESERVATION CONDITIONS

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

After the customer has made the reservation, Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center will send the customer the booking confirmation form and the invoice. Reservation is considered to be confirmed, once the customer has paid the advance fee (20% of the value of the reservation sum + service fee of 5 euros) by the due date to the Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center's bank account indicated in the booking confirmation. The payment of the remaining sum must be paid at least 14 days before the commencement of the rental period. Should the reservation be made later than 14 days before the commencement of the rental period, an advance fee will not be charged separately and the entire sum must be paid immediately. If the advance fee or the remaining sum are not paid by the due date, Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center is entitled to cancel the booking. Upon arrival to Laakasalo the customer is to present the receipt of payment.

CANCELLATION

Cancellations should always be made in writing. The cancellation shall be regarded as being made when the information relevant to cancellation has been received by Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center. In the case of a cancellation, the customer will forfeit the advance fee (+ service fee). Should the cancellation be made later than 14 days before the commencement of the rental period, the customer will be required to pay the entire sum for the accommodation. If it is possible to rent the accommodation to another person or party, from whom an equivalent sum is obtained, the advance fee (+ service fee) only will be retained by Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center.

However, if the cancellation is due to the customer´s or one of the members of the same family´s sudden sickness, accident or death, all sums paid to Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center will be refunded to the client, with the exception of the advance fee (+ service fee). The above should be proven by reliable means (i.e. doctor´s certificate etc.). Cancellation should be informed without delay. Should cancellation occur during the period of rent, payments already made by the customer will not be refunded.

THE RIGHTS OF LAAKASALO HOLIDAY AND COURSE CENTER TO CANCEL THE RESERVATION

In case of force majeure, Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center may cancel a booking. In this case, Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center tries to find alternative accommodation and service for the customer. If the customer does not approve the option offered, (s)he is entitled to a refund of the sum paid for the accommodation period that was not used.

STAYING AT LAAKASALO

The accommodation is available for the customer from 16 p.m. on the day of arrival to 11.30 a.m. on the day of departure.
After the customer has received the key(s) of the accommodation, (s)he must check the room(s) and make the possible remarks immediately to Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center.

Also in the cabins and cottages linen must be used. Customers must bring their own bed linen and towels or rent them from the hotel. Hotel room prices include linen and towel. The accommodation prices do not include any meals.

The maximum number of people using the cabins, cottages or hotel rooms are indicated in the description of the accommodation and it should not be exceeded unless otherwise agreed with Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center.
It is not allowed to bring pets to the the cabins, cottages or hotel rooms.

The client is responsible for cleaning the cabin / cottage during the rental period and on departure. Should the client fail to tidy the cabin/cottage appropriately (as it was on arrival) on departure, Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center has the right to charge a sum of at least 50 euros for cleaning bill in order to clean the cottage before the next customer. It is also possible to order the cleaning (on departure) in advance.

Smoking inside the cabins, cottages and hotel rooms is forbidden.
The use of a tent or caravan in the Laakasalo area is forbidden without the owner’s permission.
There are regulations in the Laakasalo area, which the customer is obligated to follow.
The customer is obligated to compensate to the owner for any damages to the holiday premises which they have themselves caused.

RIGHT TO ALTER PRICES AND INFORMATION

Laakasalo Holiday and Course Center reserves the right to correct errors in the price list(s) and other information before a rental agreement is made.
